Today I was teaching in downtown Raleigh. This area is so full of history, there's a historical marker on every block. In fact I had to walk a block from the parking lot to the building and I saw two markers along the way.
After work I had to drive an 1 ½ hours to Greenville where I’m running a transition center in the morning. While eating dinner at a local ‘Steak Bar’ I heard this man describing a women as, “She drives a black Buick and has religious hair.” From the hand gestures, I gather it means her hair is large and full, like in the play Hairspray. I've never heard that term before.
