Kensico Cemetery Westchester County, NY

Located in Vahalla (Westchester County), about twenty-seven miles north of New York City, Kensico Cemetery was established in 1889 from a 250 acre tract of farmland. In 1905 it expanded to 600 acres but then reduced, in 1912 when 461 acres were used to create Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Wreath or Garlands are an ancient symbol of victory:

Roses are a universal symbol for everlasting love:
Lilies represent innocence, chastity, purity, resurrection:

Love the Egyptian influence:

If I ever get a tattoo, it would be a Celtic pattern.
