Fort MacArthur Museum – 17 APR 2009

A friend came over today to check out the K-9 cemetery at Fort MacArthur. Turns out they haven’t finished with the restoration but things will be done by May 23, when they will be having a re-dedication of the Fort MacArthur K9 Command Cemetery at the Fort MacArthur Museum. Another great event they have at the Fort each summer is the Old Fort MacArthur Days and Artillery Show held each July. There are large battle re-enactments with every form of military history represented.  Here's some shots I took two in 2007:
