In 2009 a public art project entitled “Art and Soles” placed 18 giant tennis shoes all around the town.
Sport shoes were chosen in honor of the local Basketball Hall of Fame.
A few of the colorful 6 feet tall sneakers still exist.
Notice the gum stuck to the heel.
