It started at a café in 1935 but has grown into a full service restaurant and bar.
Named after Sigmund Romberg’s operetta, it’s diverse menu features such items as Pumpkin Soup, Geschnetzel, Hungarian Goulsah, Lobster Newberg, Pig’s Knuckle and Braised Venison Shanks.
I tried the Kwurst Platter consisting of grilled bratwurst, knockwurst and smoked sausage…it was all delicious.
Their beer stein collection is considered one of the largest in the United States.
